Until VOX, a formation of neoconservative origin and radical populist drift, was uni- fying its factions since 2013. El proceso de construcción de una demo- cracia parlamentaria en España obligó a la derecha franquista a improvisar un sistema de partidos durante la fase de transición. Se situaron contra el sistema político estableci- do por la Constitución de 1978 y evolu- cionaron, con una permanente inestabilidad y muy escasos resultados electorales, hacia fórmulas neofascistas y populistas. Hasta que VOX, una formación de origen neoconser- vador y deriva radical populista, fue unifi- cando sus facciones a partir de 2013.
