En el marco de una coyuntura a escala internacional caracterizada por una conflictividad social elevada, en el presente artículo se analiza al período 1917-1922 como un tiempo de exacerbación de las luchas de obreros urbanos y rurales, enmarcado y posibilitado por una fase de recuperación de la economía argentina luego del estallido de la Gran Guerra.
