Works and installations by Amerindian artists are featured in art biennials, and texts by Amerindian writers and intellectuals win prestigious awards for the first time in history. In this paper, I analyze some Amerindian practices and repertoires to interrogate how they pluralize the pasts of Latin American culture, and their legacies, but also, I would like to suggest, the forms, materials, and repertoires of what we understand today as contemporary art and writing in Latin America. Durante las primeras décadas del siglo XXI, prácticas, saberes, imaginarios y repertorios amerindios ganaron una visibilidad sin precedente. Obras e instalaciones de artistas amerindios son presentadas en bienales de arte y textos de escritores e intelectuales amerindios ganan premios prestigiosos por primera vez en la historia. En este trabajo analizo algunas prácticas y repertorios amerindios para interrogar el modo en que pluralizan los pasados de la cultura latinoamericana, sus legados, pero también, quisiera sugerir, las formas, los materiales y los repertorios de lo que entendemos hoy como arte y escritura contemporáneas en América latina.  Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades.
