Cecilia Liborio, Miriam City and urbanity growth and developmen forms of inhabiting appropriation of spaces urban commons Ciudad y urbanidad crecimiento y desarrollo formas de habitar apropiación de los espacios bienes comunes de lo urbano This dossier attempts to rethink polysemic concepts such as city, urbanity, growth, development, renewal in the ways of inhabiting and in the appropriation of spaces and common goods of the urban, to account for the relationship between the resulting spatiality and the processes underway, considering the disputes in the face of issues such as inequality, exclusion, resilience and dissidence between the spheres of life and those of the systems. Thus, the objective we formulated was to highlight a set of arguments from different epistemological frameworks that allow us to broaden the view on the complexity of urban habitation. The discussions, experiences and actions reviewed in the articles received give an account of the multiple perspectives that both from academia and praxis situate the city as an object of study and intervention. Este dossier intenta repensar conceptos polisémicos como los de ciudad, urbanidad, crecimiento, desarrollo, renovación en las formas de habitar y en la apropiación de los espacios y bienes comunes de lo urbano, dar cuenta de la relación entre la espacialidad resultante y los procesos en curso, considerando las disputas ante cuestiones tales como la desigualdad, la exclusión, resiliencias y disidencias entre las esferas de la vida y las de los sistemas. Así, el objetivo que nos formulamos fue poner en valor un conjunto de argumentaciones desde distintos marcos epistemológicos que permitan ampliar la mirada sobre la complejidad del habitar urbano. Las discusiones, experiencias y acciones reseñadas en los artículos recibidos dan cuenta de las múltiples miradas que tanto desde el ámbito académico como desde la praxis sitúan a la ciudad como objeto de estudio e intervención.
