In general lines, the work starts from theanalysis of the plot, the narrative voices and the construction of the intrigue in each of thetexts in order to reconstruct a series of metaphors that allude to a foundational violence thatmakes the order (racial, sexual and moral) dominant and a subversive representation ofindigenous subjectivities. El artículo propone una lectura de la narrativa de la escritora boliviana Liliana Colanzi a partir de la pregunta por los modos en que se entrelaza retóricamente el repertorio del gótico con las referencias a las relaciones de dominación colonial sobre las que se asienta la idea de nación. El corpus está conformado por cuatro cuentos que se incluyen en Nuestro mundo muerto (2017): “Alfredito”, “La Ola”, “Meteorito” y “Chaco”. En líneas generales, la exposición parte del análisis de la trama, de las voces narrativas y de la construcción de la intriga en cada uno de los textos, con el fin de reconstruir núcleos temáticos que aluden a una violencia fundacional que hace al orden (racial, sexual y moral) dominante y a una representación subversiva de las subjetividades indígenas.
