In spite of having been written in 2010, this text seems extremely current because of how it problematizes a notion that has a lot of press in neoliberalism as happiness, but shedding light on its disciplining force. From a feminist and queer perspective, this British-Australian academic puts this apparently noble sentiment at the centre of the issue, but it ends up working as a duty to be. |
