In the words of Macón and Solana (2015), it is "a project aimed at exploring alternative ways of approaching the affective, passionate or emotional dimension [...] from its role in public space" (pp. 15-16). Si tuviéramos que definir —como parece convenirle al género introductorio— el llamado giro afectivo, podríamos tomar las palabras de otrxs y acordar, con Nicolás Cuello (2019), en que se trata de “un campo de experimentación teórico-reflexiva” (p.11) donde conviven indagaciones y exploraciones de cuño feminista y queer en las que se expresa la relevancia política de los afectos y emociones en la vida pública. En palabras de Macón y Solana (2015), se trata de “un proyecto destinado a explorar formas alternativas de aproximarse a la dimensión afectiva, pasional o emocional […] a partir de su rol en el espacio público” (pp. 15-16).
