The research shows the need to work on unhealthy eating habits and to foster the relationship between the professional teams of the medical areas and the nutrition areas Resumen:  Introducción: Los profesionales médicos poseen un papel sustancial como facilitadores y promotores de estilos de vida saludables, por ello: sus hábitos alimentarios, estado nutricional, la importancia que dan a indicadores de salud alimentaria nutricional (SAN) y las acciones que realizan en su práctica, adquieren relevancia para la salud pública.
