Abstract:
To evaluate healthy lifestyles in the student population of the Department of Community Health I FCM UNC, we carried out a descriptive cross-sectional study. The PAHO survey How is my lifestyle was used with questions that cover domains: relationship with others, physical activity, rest, nutrition, oral health, sexuality, mobility, substance use, lifestyle and environment. An anonymous online survey was conducted using the limesurvey platform and Chi2 and Fishers. Protocol approved by the PAHO ethics committee as a risk-free investigation. Inclusion criteria: students of the subject from the year 2021. 684 students were invited to participate, the response rate was 85% (n 581). 78% obtained a score> 70 points which would correspond to healthy lifestyle habits, 12% between 59 to 69 (adequate), 6% between 41 to 58 (changes are required) and 4% ≤40 indicating that they did not have them . 74.4% report a good relationship with others, 78.2% do not engage in physical activity, 58.6% have sleep problems, 49.5% have stress and tension problems, 64.5% enjoy free time, 33, 3% avoid junk food, 26.73% feel good about their weight, 83.8% answer that oral health is important and 49.1% visit the dentist, 94.8% carry out pregnancy prevention, 58.7% avoided sexual relations having consumed alcohol and 84.4% value affection in sexual relations. 76.6% respect the safety regulations, 69.5% use the seat belt and 85.9% respond not to drive having consumed alcohol. 49.8% consume energy drinks, 22.7% smoke, 17.6% consume psychoactive substances. 93.6% are satisfied with themselves and what they do, 55.9% know how to say no, 55.7% recycle sometimes. The analysis of the variables by age and sex is not included in the summary. Although the scale classifies more than 70% of the population with healthy habits, the lifestyles related to physical activity, nutrition, consumption of alcohol and psychoactive substances, and rest were inadequate. Chi2 values less than 12.88, p less than 0.019 were obtained. Collective intervention strategies should be generated such as awareness workshops or talks / debate that allow modifying these risk factors.

Collective intervention strategies should be generated such as awareness workshops or talks / debate that allow modifying these risk factors. . Universidad Nacional Córdoba.
