Dala were analysed by Chi scjuare test, Fisher's exaci test, ni ultipie correspondance analtjsis and logis(ic regression. Consumplion of hagna cal-ida (p< 0.05 ) aoci polenta (p< 0.1) were /iigher arnong PA. D(Jjerences on Ihe elahoralion of polenta cind pasta werefounc1: PA acici litera cheese (p< 0.05) and crearn (p< 0.05) whereas no-PA ma/ce use of meal (p< 0.05) and lorna(o sauce (p<O.OS), respectively. Tite frequency of consurnption of tradilional Piarnontese rneals anc! ¿he role of tite moiher in tite purchase, the elaboral ion arid the serving of lhefood were similar on boih groups. In conclusion, food practices of Pianiontese's descendariis recaí! Ihe food culture of ¿heir ancestry wilh sorne reasonahie adaptations to the local context.
