description Overweight among children is one of the main problems for public health to deal with.  In Argentina, 6 out of 10 children in scholar age are dealing with this issue. In Cordoba the situation is similar, which led to the Ordinance 12256 approval, which made possible the hole "Healthy Scholar Cafeteria" project, aiming to promote healthy habits in public and private schools, and also both in elementary school and high school, making 112.000 students and also, the "Healthy Food and Drinks Manual" was made. All this was planned based on a implementation process program divided in four progressive stages: summons, ongoing training, commitment accord and healthy school certificate. The aim of this work was to evaluate the implementation process in Cordoba city, during a one-year period. A cross-sectional study was accompished during February 2019, involving all private (136) and municipal (37) educational institutions who were recruited in the project. The resutls obtained showed that 100% (173) joined the project, 63% (109) schools completed the training, 35,8% (62) signed the commitment agreement, 15,6% (27) were certified as healthy institutions, 100% of the public schools and 53% of the private schools participated in the ongoing training, 35,1% of the public schools and 68% of the private schools accomplished the commitment agreement. 29,7% of the public schools and 11,1% of the private schools were certified as healthy institutions. An important participation of educational institutions was clearly observed, with a higher attendance and strong commitment with the hole process observed among public institutions. Nonetheless, the in private sector a higher number of schools signed the commitment agreement.

Nonetheless, the in private sector a higher number of schools signed the commitment agreement.
