Reception date: March 6, 2020 Acceptance date: May 26, 2020 En este documento mostraremos la relación directa entre, por un lado, la división social y técnica del trabajo que prevalece en los procesos de trabajo y, por otro, la acumulación de capital y la salud de los trabajadores en un sentido integral. Existen conocimientos validados sobre las consecuencias de las condiciones y el medio ambiente de trabajo en la salud física, pero no hay plena conciencia del impacto que los cambios en los procesos de trabajo intensificados, como consecuencia de la crisis del sistema productivo, tienen sobre las dimensiones psíquicas y mentales. Es este un fenómeno naturalizado y que está invisibilizado debido a la insuficiencia teórica, la escasez de investigaciones y porque se busca su curación en el tratamiento psicológico, sin percibir que los trabajadores somatizan el dolor y el sufrimiento, lo que provoca numerosas enfermedades.
