En este estudio se registra a Rhamphidium con R. dicranoides y a Pleuridium andinum por primera vez para el país y se actualiza el área de distribución de 3 taxa de Ditrichaceae en el noroeste de Argentina. El presente trabajo incluye una clave de los géneros de Ditrichaceae que se encuentran en el país, junto con la descripción, comentarios taxonómicos y un mapa de las especies aquí citadas.
