This paper presents a dozen scenarios in which this hypothesis is verified, analyzing the value of plays, paintings, musical segments or directly films within films. El recurso de la puesta en abismo en el cine puede ser leído en sintonía con el fenómeno del acting en la clínica psicoanalítica. La presencia de una escena dentro de otra escena, cuando la segunda establece un diálogo con la primera arrojando una nueva luz sobre ella, es una potente analogía clínico-metodológica. Este escrito presenta una decena de escenarios en que se verifica esta hipótesis, analizando el valor de obras de teatro, pinturas, segmentos musicales o directamente películas dentro de películas.
