In this way, outreach practices are incorporated into the curriculum of undergraduate degree programs.The present article describes pedagogical innovations carried out as part of the practical work during the years 2016-2017 with the aim of improving teaching practices from active educational paradigms, coherent with the present times in relation to the appropriation of knowledge and respecting generational aspects that students who take the course experience. The pedagogical strategies focused on the activation of previous knowledge, grouping into work teams, the use of portfolios and the reorganization of the follow-up stage of the program.The pedagogical experience resulted in meaningful learning for all the participants involved in the program. The goal is to continue working in this area, to evaluate these changes and to reflect upon our teaching task critically. La Extensión Universitaria como ámbito multidimensional en que se relacionan docentes, estudiantes y comunidad interpela y tensiona la práctica docente. Odontología Social III de la carrera de Odontología de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario es una asignatura que se desarrolla a partir de clases teóricas y trabajos prácticos que se organizan aplicando un programa de Promoción de la Salud bucal en escuelas públicas y privadas de la ciudad de Rosario. Las prácticas de Extensión se realizan en la formación de grado. El objetivo de este trabajo apunta a describir innovaciones didácticas en los trabajos prácticos durante los años 2016-2017, con la finalidad de mejorar la enseñanza desde paradigmas educativos activos coherentes con los tiempos que corren en relación a la apropiación de conocimientos, respetando aspectos generacionales que vivencian los estudiantes.Las estrategias pedagógicas se enfocaron en la recuperación de saberes previos, la formación de equipos de trabajo, uso de portfolios y la reorganización de la fase de seguimiento del programa. Se concluyó que los aprendizajes de los sujetos que intervinieron en el programa fueron significativos en la construcción de esta experiencia pedagógica. La meta de este trabajo es evaluar estos cambios y poner en reflexión crítica nuestra tarea docente.
