Being the doctor is the legal person in charge of communicating, diagnosing and proposing the measures to be followed and nursing the care administrator, a humanized care, that goes beyond the simple procedure, relying on useful and beneficial practices, through communication and the Interpersonal relationship between the professional and the pregnant woman, her family or social group in the different stages of life, her health situation and the environment. La investigación y promoción sobre los cuidados de enfermería es indispensable para la difusión y el avance del conocimiento científico y tecnoló-gico. En este trabajo se dan a conocer las políticas sanitarias argentinas y la Ley N° 25.929 sobre Parto Humanizado, que pretende, brindar una atención médica oportuna y de calidad, promo-viendo la iniciativa Maternidad Segura y Centrada en la Familia (MSCF), con el fin de incrementar su probabilidad de aceptación, puesta en práctica, garantizando la protección de los derechos de cada uno de los involucrados en el proceso. Siendo el médico el encargado legal de comu-nicar, diagnosticar y de proponer las medidas a seguir y enfermería la responsable del cuidado, un cuidado humanizado, que traspasa el simple procedimiento, apoyándose en prácticas útiles y benéficas, a través de la comunicación y de la relación interpersonal entre el profesional y la mujer gestante, su familia o grupo social en las distintas etapas de la vida, su situación de salud y del entorno.
