| Sumario: | SUMMARY: The present work deals with the implementation of an educational project in the Sanatorio Allende, whose objective is the care of the pediatric oncological catheter, through the joint work with parents and / or relatives to provide support and guidance in relation to the care of the same. The interaction theory for the evaluation of children's health, by Kathryn E. Barnard, was used as a frame of reference. An educational resource, a guide booklet for parents and family on semi-implant and implantable catheter care, was designed to reinforce the contents previously communicated in the meeting between parents and nurses, thus strengthening the teaching-learning process. |
