Barnard SUMMARY:  The present work deals with the implementation of an educational project in the Sanatorio Allende, whose objective is the care of the pediatric oncological catheter, through the joint work with parents and / or relatives to provide support and guidance in relation to the care of the same. The interaction theory for the evaluation of children's health, by Kathryn E. Barnard, was used as a frame of reference. An educational resource, a guide booklet for parents and family on semi-implant and implantable catheter care, was designed to reinforce the contents previously communicated in the meeting between parents and nurses, thus strengthening the teaching-learning process. El presente trabajo trata sobre la implementación de un proyecto educativo en el sanatorio Allende, cuyo objetivo es el cuidado del catéter oncológico pediátrico, a través de la labor en conjunto con padres y/o familiares para prestar apoyo y orientaciones en relación al cuidado del mismo. Como marco de referencia se utilizó  la teoría de la interacción para la evaluación de la salud infantil, de Kathryn E. Barnard. Se diseñó como recurso educativo, un folleto guía para padres y familia sobre cuidados de catéter semiimplantable e implantable, para reforzar los contenidos previamente comunicados en el encuentro entre padres y personal de enfermería, fortaleciendo así el proceso de enseñanza- aprendizaje.
