The editorial team conceived propitious to celebrate this anniversary with the attributes that define the identity of Comechingonia, the publication of quality works and the conviction that scientific knowledge is inexorably accumulated, varied and exceeded. Consequently, in this special issue, a selection of some significant works in the history of Comechingonia has been made, both for the contribution they made at the time, or for what they represented for the field of specialty in the following years. These contributions have been reissued, accompanied by a note from each of the authors, contextualizing, reviewing, and expanding statements made there from the current place in which they produce knowledge. En el año 2018 se cumplieron 35 años de la edición de aquel primer número y consecuentemente de esta dificultosa pero gratificante aventura. El equipo editorial concibió propicio celebrar este aniversario con los atributos que definen la identidad de Comechingonia, la publicación de trabajos de calidad y la convicción de que el conocimiento científico innexorablemente se acumula, varía y se supera. Consecuentemente en este número especial se ha hecho una selección de algunos trabajos significativos en la historia de Comechingonia, tanto por el aporte que significaron en su momento, o por lo que representaron para el campo de la especialidad en los años siguientes. Esas contribuciones han sido reeditadas, acompañadas por una nota de cada uno de los autores, contextualizando, revisando, ampliando afirmaciones allí vertidas desde el lugar actual en el cual producen conocimiento.
