| Sumario: | This study analyzes the textual construction of aboriginal identity in Córdoba through colonial documents, proposing that alterity is founded on the fixation of a specific semantic "theme". A recurrent lexical repertoire is identified, systematically referring to opposition, battle, and death, using terms like guazabara, flechazos (arrow shots), and pelear (to fight). This selective textualization emphasizes conflict, delineating an aboriginal category contrasting with the hegemonic society. This discursive strategy was key to legitimizing the actions of the conquest and establishing an indigenous identity defined by resistance and otherness. |
