In recent field activities new archaeological areas with evidences related to moments before ca. 1100 years BP have been recognized in different micro-environments: Arroyo Seco and Corral Grande 1. The objective of this paper is to present these new records, describing their pottery, lithic and architectural characteristics. Finally, we discuss this information in relation to previous investigations and models. En la microrregión de Antofagasta de la Sierra (Puna Argentina) se vienen desarrollando desde hace muchos años estudios orientados a la comprensión del proceso sociocultural formativo (ca. 3000-1100 años AP). En recientes actividades de campo se identificaron nuevos sectores arqueológicos, en diversos microambientes de la región, con evidencias asignables a momentos previos a ca. 1100 años AP: Arroyo Seco y Corral Grande 1. El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar estos nuevos hallazgos exponiendo las tendencias observadas en las evidencias cerámicas, líticas y arquitectónicas relevadas hasta el momento para discutirlas en el marco de investigaciones y modelos precedentes.
