| Sumario: | This paper presents the results of stable isotope analysis (δ13C and δ15N), as well as of a plant micro-remains study on the charred food residues found in decorated and undecorated potsherds from La Palmera 2 archaeological site (province of Entre Ríos, northeast of Argentina). The site is a settlement of multiple activities were performed, associated with a Goya-Malabrigo occupation, dating from 1056 ± 47 and 1032 ± 47 years BP. The data indicate that the vessels have been primarily used for processing animal protein, which would have been supplemented with C3 plants. |
