Until now, they had not recovered archaeological materials that allow obtain absolute dates to precisely locate Laguna Blanca at local and regional archaeological landscape. In this sense, the datings presented here are the first for the site, allowing us to supplement existing information for the characterization. This site constitutes a representative of the deposits of the Uruguayan Atlantic-coast platense, which allows us to resize existing information for the characterization of coastal sites example. Este trabajo presenta las primeras dataciones absolutas obtenidas para el sitio Laguna Blanca, realizadas por AMS sobre fragmentos cerámicos recuperados durante la campaña arqueológica del año 2014. Hasta el momento, no se habían recuperado en los trabajos de campo materiales arqueológicos ni sedimentos cuyas características permitieran obtener fechados absolutos para ubicar con precisión a Laguna Blanca en el panorama arqueológico local y regional. El sitio constituye un ejemplo representativo de los yacimientos de la costa atlántico-platense uruguaya, que nos permite redimensionar la información existente para la caracterización de los sitios costeros.
