Sumario:An update and analysis of existing information about Túmulo II site is presented in order to increase knowledge of burial practices in the North Centre of Mendoza. It is a burial located at the South of the current town of Uspallata, found by Carlos Rusconi in 1938. It has two AMS dating of bone: 1178 ± 41 and 1269 ± 35 BP and isotopic data of carbon and nitrogen. The associated archaeological material is composed of two small pots, a projectile point, and a lip plug. By reviewing estimates of age and sex, analysis of health status and treatment of death, the information of the site was expanded and integrated with the aim of achieving a better understanding about the groups that lived in the area.
