It is a burial located at the South of the current town of Uspallata, found by Carlos Rusconi in 1938. It has two AMS dating of bone: 1178 ± 41 and 1269 ± 35 BP and isotopic data of carbon and nitrogen. The associated archaeological material is composed of two small pots, a projectile point, and a lip plug. By reviewing estimates of age and sex, analysis of health status and treatment of death, the information of the site was expanded and integrated with the aim of achieving a better understanding about the groups that lived in the area. Se presenta la actualización y análisis de la información existente sobre el sitio Túmulo II, con el objetivo de ampliar los conocimientos sobre las prácticas funerarias del Centro-Norte de Mendoza. El mismo es un enterratorio ubicado al sur de la actual villa de Uspallata, hallado por el investigador Carlos Rusconi en 1938. Cuenta con dos fechados de AMS sobre hueso: 1178±41 y 1269 ± 35 AP y con datos isotópicos de carbono y nitrógeno. El material arqueológico asociado se compone de dos ollas pequeñas, una punta de proyectil y un tembetá. Mediante la revisión de las estimaciones de edad y sexo, el análisis del estado de salud y tratamiento de la muerte se amplió e integró la información del sitio con el objetivo de lograr un mayor conocimiento sobre los grupos que poblaron el área.
