However, there is another dimension: research. Research is inquiry, the search for what is new. It implies going out of the safety and comfort of what has already been said in order to move to the contingency, the unexpected from the encounter with something else. Research is thus a way of vivifying teaching. We will strive for that to be the feature of Lapso: research as a way of being open to what is new, not without the foundations. Sabemos que una parte de la transmisión del psicoanálisis tiene que ver con repetir, resignificar, sistematizar lo ya dicho, lo acumulado en términos de conocimiento por los que han venido antes que nosotros —del lado del estudio y de la erudición—. Sin embargo, hay otra vertiente que es la investigación. Investigación es pregunta, es búsqueda de lo nuevo. Implica salir de la seguridad y del confort de lo ya dicho para pasar a la contingencia, a lo imprevisto del encuentro con otra cosa. La investigación es así un modo de vivificar la enseñanza. Intentaremos que sea ese el rasgo de Lapso. La investigación como modo de apertura a lo nuevo, no sin los fundamentos. Facultad de Psicología.
