Sumario:The article aims to introduce a conceptual framework for the School Library within the model of the Center for Teaching and Learning Resources (Centro de Recursos para la Enseñanza y el Aprendizaje -CREA, by its Spanish acronym-). This framework helps identify the core categories of the concept and its potential for practical application and comprehension through process management within the school environment. The research describes the concept, principles, and elements of the school library under CREA model and its proposed library management approach. It was developed through a documentary review method, exploring the relationships between categories such as school library, learning resource center, and center for teaching and learning resources. The narrative includes findings from a systematic literature review, characterizing predominant models in school library management, constructing the CREA concept, and proposing pathways for managing and implementing the model's processes and subprocesses. The conclusion highlights the school library under CREA model as a valuable tool and strategy that facilitates collaborative and synergistic efforts within the school library, contributing to educational quality and the coherent realization of the school's social objectives.
