The Objective it is basically transmitting, sharing and disseminating an innovative work experience in the university library, which will be important as motivation, development or analogy for subsequent generations of librarians. The methodology is descriptive, qualitative and retrospective, with the logic of systematizing experiences. The Results Innovative digital information service on the website with volunteers from students, alumni and library staff. About forty students participated in the experience. Conclusions given the needs and few resources, it was decided to modernize the information services through a web page. To build the website of the Library of Mathematical Sciences, a volunteer program was organized with students and alumni of the faculty. The Library changed its conservative image and became a modern space for the dissemination of information. The interrelation of the actors in the development of the website with volunteering was democratic and broad, among students, graduates and library staff La experiencia que ofrecemos se realizó en la Biblioteca académica de la Facultad de Ciencias matemáticas de una universidad pública de Lima, del 2010 al 2013, teniendo como eje el voluntariado de alumnos para el desarrollo de la página web de la biblioteca. El objetivo es básicamente transmitir, compartir y difundir una experiencia innovadora de trabajo en biblioteca universitaria, que será importante como motivación, desarrollo o analogía para las generaciones de bibliotecarios posteriores. La metodología es descriptiva, cualitativa y retrospectiva, con la lógica de la sistematización de experiencias. Servicio innovador de información digital en página web con voluntariado de alumnos, ex alumnos y personal de biblioteca. Participaron en la experiencia alrededor de cuarenta alumnos. Las conclusiones frente a las necesidades y pocos recursos se optó por la modernización de los servicios de información a través de una página web. Para construir la página web de la Biblioteca de Ciencias Matemáticas se organizó un voluntariado con alumnos y ex alumnos de la facultad. La Biblioteca cambió su imagen conservadora y se convirtió en un espacio moderno de difusión de información. La interrelación de los actores en el desarrollo de la página web con voluntariado, fue democrática y amplia, entre alumnos, egresados y personal de biblioteca Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades.
