Caperucita Roja es uno de los grandes clásicos de la Literatura Infantil que ha estado y permanece presente a lo largo del tiempo. En la actualidad son muchos los escritores que ofrecen sus propias versiones de este cuento de origen folklórico como si fuera un procedimiento literario nuevo, pero sin embargo el mismo fue el gran protagonista de gran cantidad de versiones o reescrituras en la primera mitad del siglo XX, tanto en Argentina, como en otros países de América Latina, además de España e Inglaterra.
