We are interested in analyzing their role as responsible for the management, custody, conservation and treatment of the funds belonging to the documentary historical heritage. In Chaco, the revision of what happened in the Napalpí Reduction during 1924, emerges as a demand during the beginning of the second millennium. Several indigenous referents lead this demand, which was consolidated in January 2008 with the request for forgiveness from the provincial Executive for those events. The Federal Prosecutor's Office, faced the conformation of the Trial for the Truth that began to gather evidence in 2014. It is there that the Historical Archive provides the first selection of documentation available in its collections. The same will increase during the following years, allowing it to provide new documents during the hearings in 2022. Both authors had direct responsibility in this context, so they propose to systematize the experience. Este artículo pretender registrar el proceso de trabajo de un Archivo Histórico provincial, respecto de las etapas de gestión y organización de documentos aportados al Juicio por la Verdad de la Masacre de Napalpí. Nos interesa analizar su rol como responsables de la gestión, custodia, conservación y tratamiento de los fondos pertenecientes al patrimonio histórico documental. En el Chaco, la revisión de lo acontecido en la Reducción de Napalpí durante 1924, emerge como demanda durante inicios del dos mil. Varios referentes indígenas encabezan esta exigencia, que se consolida en enero de 2008 con el pedido de perdón del Ejecutivo provincial por esos hechos. La Fiscalía Federal, encara la conformación del Juicio por la Verdad que comienza a reunión pruebas en 2014. Es allí que el Archivo Histórico aporta la primera selección de documentación disponible en sus colecciones. La misma se acrecienta durante los años siguientes, permitiéndole aportan nuevos documentos durante las audiencias en 2022. Ambos autores tuvieron responsabilidad directa en ese marco, por lo cual se proponen sistematizar la experiencia. Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades.
