For which, the document was treated from the archival perspective, recognizing the documentary source, its characteristics, and any relevant data that could be related to Information Science. The documentary analysis made it possible to identify the file and the inventory of the administrative steps that concluded in the transfer of books from the valuable library of the prelate from the Government of Córdoba to the city of Buenos Aires. El presente trabajo tiene por objeto dar a conocer, el expediente por el cual se tramitó el embargo y traslado de bienes de la biblioteca del Obispo Antonio Rodrigo de Orellana. Para ello, se procedió al tratamiento del documento desde la perspectiva archivística, reconociendo la fuente documental, sus características, y todo dato relevante que pudiese resultar relacionadocon la Ciencia de Información. El análisis documental posibilitó identificar el expediente y el inventario de los pasos administrativos que concluyeron en el traslado de libros de la valiosa biblioteca del prelado desde la Gobernación de Córdoba a la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
