The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) allow individuals to elaborate, disseminate, communicate and interact with information and they are related to the evolution of society.The school is the ideal space to start developing information skills and to have the contact with the ICT. This study analyzes the benefits of the stimulus to the use of ICT in schools to develop, in students, information literacy. The methodology used is the analysis of 6 articles published in the last 15 years. The results of the analysis prove the importance of the use of ICT in the development of information literacy in students and also demonstrate that teachers need better training regarding the use of ICT for classroom teaching and as an object of training in information skills.The study concludes that ICTs are changing people's way of life and should be incorporated into children's day-to-day activities since the primary education. La Sociedad de la Información y del Conocimiento es el agente transformador de la sociedad en un ecosistema informacional y demanda la alfabetización informacional, que necesita ser desarrollada por los individuos. Las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC) permiten elaborar, difundir, comunicar e interactuar con la información y están relacionadas a la evolución de la sociedad. La escuela es el espacio ideal para empezar a desarrollar las habilidades informativas y el contacto con las TIC. El estudio analiza los beneficios del estímulo al uso de las TIC en la escuela para desarrollar, en los alumnos, la alfabetización informacional. La metodología utilizada es el análisis de 6 artículos publicados en los últimos 15 años. Los resultados de los análisis constatan la importancia del uso de las TIC en el desarrollo de la alfabetización informacional en los alumnos y que los profesores necesitan mejor formación respecto a la utilización de las TIC para enseñanza en clase y como objeto de capacitación en habilidades informacionales.El estudio concluye que las TIC están cambiando la forma de vida de las personas y deben ser recursos incorporados al día a día de los niños desde la educación primaria.
