The libraries and other organisations and institutions librarians are not extraneous to this process and fulfil a fundamental role. In the execution of this article, does a general presentation on the subject, give some examples, presentsthe investigation realised on the situation of Argentina to level country and in the world-wide concert and give some examples and guidelines that could be useful for the fulfillment of the ODS. El desarrollo sostenible que requiere la Agenda 2030, adoptada por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) en el año 2015, fue aprobada por los 193 Estados miembros que reconocieron que el mayor desafío del mundo actual es la erradicación de la pobreza y que este objetivo se debe lograr para hacer posible ese desarrollo. Las bibliotecas y otras organizaciones e instituciones bibliotecarias no están ajenas a este proceso y cumplen un rol fundamental. En la ejecución de este artículo, se hace una presentación general sobre el tema, se dan algunos ejemplos, se presenta la investigación realizada sobre la situación de Argentina a nivel país y en el concierto mundial y se dan algunos ejemplos y pautas que podrían ser útiles para el cumplimiento de los ODS.
