The aim is to show the uses of the Gowin diagram in the context of experimental activities to support students participating in scientific events. The Professora Filomena Quitiba school of the state network of the state of Espírito Santo was the place to articulate the proposition of the Gowin heuristic, also known as the V-diagram due to its format. The study was qualitative, exploratory and interpretive in terms of the data collected and evaluated. The research participants were high school students organized into groups to participate in science fairs. The results were satisfactory with the insertion of the diagram in the experimental physics activities. The students understood the potential of the Gowin diagram during the activities. It is concluded that the uses of the Gowin diagram for the perception of the scientific method and a need in basic education are presented in a didactic way. É apresentado produto educacional[1] resultante do Mestrado Nacional Profissional em Ensino de Física realizado na Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. O objetivo é mostrar os usos do diagrama de Gowin no contexto de atividades experimentais para subsidiar os educandos participantes de eventos científicos. A escola Professora Filomena Quitiba da rede estadual do estado do Espírito Santo foi local para articular a proposição da heurística de Gowin, também conhecido como diagrama V devido ao seu formato. O estudo foi qualitativo, de caráter exploratório e interpretativo em função dos dados coletados e avaliados. Os participantes da pesquisa foram alunos do ensino médio organizados em grupos para a participação em feiras de ciências. Os resultados foram satisfatórios com a inserção do diagrama nas atividades experimentais de física. Os educandos compreenderam o potencial do diagrama de Gowin durante as atividades. Conclui-se que os usos do diagrama de Gowin se apresenta de forma didática para a percepção do método científico e uma necessidade na educação básica.
