These emerging advances are among the changes that Physics and Physics Education must deal with, becoming a conceptual challenge. It is proposed in this work to reflect on a primary conceptual basis, especially the reference system, space and time, for the treatment of Newtonian relativity as a previous step to the study of Special and General Relativity. La dependencia de la tecnología moderna se fundamenta en el entramado de leyes científicas donde la Física juega un rolpreponderante en la enseñanza de las ciencias, debiendo responder y evolucionar con los cambios trascendentales, definiendo perfiles, aportando contenidos e incorporando lenguajes que caracterizan nuestro mundo y que se acentuarán cada vez más en los próximos años. Estos avances emergentes se encuentran entre los cambios con los que la Física y la Educación en Física deben enfrentarse, convirtiéndose en un desafío conceptual. En este trabajo se propone reflexionar sobre una base conceptual primaria, en especial sistema de referencia, espacio y tiempo, para el tratamiento de la relatividad Newtoniana como paso previo al estudio de la Relatividad Especial y General.
