The didactic sequence presented here has been constructed considers one key idea about light absorption and emission model, nonetheless the original document has five ideas to promote explanatory models about optical phenomena that can help understand ideas about light nature since wave-particle duality. Furthermore, the application of activities contained in these sequences it proposes facts to strengthen your epistemic abilities for example describe, predict and intervene about optical phenomena in your current context. The formative proposal considers approaches about model-based teaching because it offers relevant supplies to teaching optical phenomena in secondary level. Se presentan algunas ideas clave construidas desde el desarrollo de una tesis doctoral en curso cuyo objetivo es analizar lasmodificaciones que emergen en los modelos explicativos de fenómenos ópticos de los profesores expertos al promover en ellos unaenseñanza basada en la modelización. Estas ideas se integran dentro de una propuesta formativa que se implementa en lo que se ha denominado una comunidad de desarrollo profesional de docentes de física. La secuencia didáctica aquí presentada ha sido construida considerando una idea esencial sobre el modelo de absorción y emisión de luz, sin embargo, el documento original incluye cinco ideas para promover modelos explicativos sobre fenómenos ópticos que ayuden a comprender ideas sobre la naturaleza de la luz desde la dualidad onda-partícula. Además, la aplicación de las actividades contenidas en esta secuencia propone hechos para fortalecer sus habilidades epistémicas, por ejemplo, describir, predecir e intervenir sobre fenómenos ópticos en su contexto actual. La propuesta formativa está fundamentada en una enseñanza modelo-teórica porque ofrece insumos pertinentes para el estudio, en este caso, de fenómenos ópticos que los profesores orientan en el nivel secundario.
