Sumario:Comics, for more than a century, have been promoting entertainment and are also used for dissemination to their readers. Comics have the pedagogical potential that can be used in different contents, combining reading and visual interpretation. In this work, we analyze the teaching and learning process of a strategy using comics to teach the concepts of momentum and impulse, in the first year of high school. This experience report presents a qualitative-quantitative study. The comics were used to introduce the contents of momentum and impulse, in order to explain and motivate about the physical phenomena addressed. The results showed that the use of comics as a teaching strategy can facilitate the teaching and learning processes effectively, serving as a link between the student's reality and the scientific concepts presented in the classroom.
