The proposal is aligned with the Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Mathematics educational approach (STEAM). The characterization of the fluid is carried out through an experiment that combines basic experimental techniques and video-analysis to acquire and analyze data from a collision. The sequence presented here was entirely designed to be applied through remote learning. Accordingly, synchronous and asynchronous activities are proposed, over four weeks of activities, with the additional aim of instigating the development by students of a less stereotyped view about science, its methods, and its relationship with technology and the solution of social, economic and environmental problems. Neste trabalho apresentamos uma proposta didática para o ensino médio cujo objetivo é investigar as propriedades básicas de fluidos não newtonianos e suas possíveis aplicações tecnológicas. A proposta está alinhada ao enfoque educativo ciência, tecnologia, engenharia, artes e matemática (CTEAM). A caracterização do fluido é realizada mediante um experimento que associa técnicas básicas de experimentação e vídeo-análise para adquirir e analisar dados de uma colisão. A sequência aqui apresentada foi inteiramente pensada para ser aplicada por meio do ensino remoto. Concordemente, atividades síncronas e assíncronas são propostas, ao longo de quatro semanas de atividades, com o intuito adicional de instigar o desenvolvimento por parte dos alunos de uma visão menos estereotipada, acerca da ciência, de seus métodos, e de sua relação com a tecnologia e a solução de problemas sociais, econômicos e ambientais.
