Sumario:This research aims to investigate, in the context of the conducting activities of a supervised internship, what meanings are attributed by future physics teachers to the role of the experimental activities developed during the internships. Therefore, the modalities and characteristics of the experimental activities that can be developed in Science teaching and the role of supervised internships in teacher training are discussed. The research data were constituted from the statements produced a group of future physics teachers at three moments of the Supervised Internship: after the teaching activity, through questionnaires; during reflection meetings held at the uni versity; and through the final internship report. Data analysis was based on notions of the Pecheutian Discourse Analysis, developed in Brazil, mainly by Eni Orlandi. Under this context, the results show that when planning the activities of the Internship, the future teachers propose to carry out experimental activities from an investigative perspective, however, in their teaching practice, they end up reproducing the practice of their undergraduate teacher.
