In view of the amount of false information conveyed in the media about the operation of the infrared thermometer, it was decided that the first episode of the podcast would be about the operation of this thermometer, addressing all the physics content for its proper understanding. For the second episode, the chosen theme, based on the results of surveys and difficulties identified on the students, was "Earth Magnetosphere", with a section dedicated to astrobiology subjects and another one talking about César Lattes. At the end of the practice, it was concluded that podcasts can be considered an instrument of scientific education with great potential for the dissemination of information, and can contribute to the teaching-learning process of Physics, due to its characteristics as a type of media and by the engagement of the listeners. O presente trabalho aborda uma investigação em torno da elaboração e avaliação de um Podcast, realizada ao longo das disciplinas de Estágio Supervisionado em Ensino de Física A e B, de um curso de Licenciatura em Física de uma Universidade Federal do Sul do Brasil, no contexto do Ensino Remoto Emergencial, em consequência da Pandemia do COVID-19. Tendo em vista a quantidade de informações falsas veiculadas na mídia sobre o funcionamento do termômetro de infravermelho, foi decidido que o primeiro episódio do Podcast seria sobre o funcionamento deste termômetro, abordando todos os conteúdos físicos para o bom entendimento do mesmo. Para o segundo episódio, o tema escolhido, baseado no resultado de enquetes e em dificuldades identificadas nos estudantes, foi “Magnetosfera Terrestre”, com um bloco dedicado à questões de astrobiologia e outro falando sobre César Lattes. Ao fim do trabalho, concluiuse que os podcasts podem ser considerados um instrumento de divulgação científica com grande potencial para a disseminação de informação, podendo contribuir efetivamente com o processo de ensino-aprendizagem da Física, seja por conta de suas características, como tipo de mídia, quanto pelo engajamento dos ouvintes.
