It was up to each student to develop a concept map. Presented, the maps served as a content review and as a formative evaluation. The conceptual approach used was the socio-interactionist constructivist approach based on the Vasco Moretto (VM) model. Among the various concept maps presented by the students, it was noticed that the cognitive meanings ex pressed in the various types of concept maps presented, to be understood, depend on exchanges, sharing and dialogues. Some of the maps presented still needed corrections, but the process itself is a development. In the process, it was also verified that in the com parison between the various conceptual maps presented, the argumentation and counterargument carried out by the students al lowed them to construct and reconstruct the meaning of the concepts. O objetivo da presente investigação é analisar a utilização de mapas conceituais em aulas de Física do 2do. ano do ensino médio como alternativa de avaliação do ensino-aprendizagem. Coube a cada aluno desenvolver um mapa conceitual. Apresentados, os mapas serviram como revisão do conteúdo e também como avaliação formativa. A abordagem conceitual utilizada foi a abordagem construtivista sociointeracionista baseada no modelo Vasco Moretto (VM). Dentre os diversos mapas conceituais apresentados pelos alunos, percebeu-se que os significados cognitivos expressos nos diversos tipos de mapas conceituais apresentados, para serem compreendidos, dependem de trocas, compartilhamentos e diálogos. Alguns dos mapas apresentados ainda careciam de correções, mas o próprio processo é um desenvolvimento. No processo, verificou-se também que na comparação entre os diversos mapas conceituais apresentados, que a argumentação e a contra-argumentação realizadas pelos alunos permitiu que estes construíssem e reconstruíssem o significado dos conceitos.
