We refer to the search for somecommunication alternatives that have the purpose of giving conditions to a total and effective participation of the visually impairedstudent, of which the following stand out: audio description, exploration of the remaining senses, as well as the use of songs and poetrywith themes focused on Physics, Chemistry and Biology, allowing the implementation of trans and interdisciplinary interventions involvingSocial Sciences, Socio-Environmental Education or any other area of knowledge. In order to corroborate this teaching strategy,we look for some references, such as Vygotsky and Bakhtin, that emphasize the importance of expanding, through language, the functionalskills of these students. Nosso objetivo neste estudo foi pesquisar como a linguagem pode facilitar a aprendizagem desses estudantes. Nos remetemos nabusca de algumas alternativas de comunicação que possuam a finalidade de dar condições à uma participação total e efetiva do alunocom deficiência visual, das quais se destacam: audiodescrição, exploração dos sentidos remanescentes, bem como a utilização demúsicas e poesias com temas voltados para a Física, Química e Biologia, permitindo a implementação de intervenções trans e interdisciplinaresque envolvam as Ciências Sociais, a Educação Socioambiental ou qualquer outra área do conhecimento. A fim de corroborarcom esta estratégia de ensino, buscamos alguns referenciais, como Vygotsky e Bakhtin, que realçam a importância de ampliar, atravésda linguagem, as habilidades funcionais destes alunos.
