Data analysis was based on the theory and procedures of discourse analysis. Among theresults obtained, there are data that show the receptivity of teachers to the proposal, the knowledge accumulated in the period, thefeasibility of incorporating new contents and teaching methodologies to their daily practice, as well as greater autonomy for teachingastronomy. O presente projeto de pesquisa utiliza o material didático específico, intitulado “O Diário do Céu”, no formato de um diário escolarvoltado para a Astronomia observacional, num curso de extensão para formação docente em Astronomia, e implementado com alunos,nas escolas, no período de 2016 à 2019, de modo presencial, e em 2020, de modo remoto. A análise dos dados se deu a partir dateoria e procedimentos da análise de discurso. dentre os resultados obtidos, destacaram-se dados que mostram a receptividade dosprofessores à proposta, o conhecimento acumulado no período, a viabilidade de incorporação de novos conteúdos e metodologias deensino à sua prática cotidiana, bem como maior autonomia para o ensino de Astronomia.
