| Sumario: | What did the organization process, by teachers and members of school management, reveal from a Science laboratory to atechnical school? What possibilities and challenges were shown to the participants in the search to promote experimental activitiesfor high school students in a school where the existing laboratories are of a technical nature? Qualitative in nature, the researchwas carried out in one of the technical schools in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, and had the participation of teachers who taughtthe subjects of Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, a pedagogical coordinator teacher and the school director. Through aquestionnaire, audio recording and documents, the research revealed that it is still necessary to face the challenge of overcomingthe need for a physical space to carry out the experimental activities; that these continue to play a motivating role for the classesand that these conceptions are strongly related to teacher education and experience; that there are possibilities for thedevelopment of experimental Science activities in technical schools from the integration of the managerial, pedagogical andteaching nucleus, regardless of the support of educational policies and teaching systems. |
