Different logics operated in them: the first curricular change arose as part of a general reconstruction after the last military dictatorship that took place in Uruguay and the second from the founding of a new Faculty. The process is marked by a growing professionalization in an internationalizing sense and shows how different factors intervene in curricular changes: institutional, linked to curricular development and, with a prominent role, to the development of disciplines. anizacional de la Educación Superior y partiendo desde una concepción crítica del currículo universitario, en este artículo analizamos los procesos de cambio curricular ocurridos en el grado universitario de física de la Universidad de la República, de Uruguay, entre 1985 y 1995. En el período analizado se dieron dos cambios curriculares, en dos Facultades distintas de esta institución. Operaron en ellos lógicas diferentes: el primer cambio curricular surgió como parte de una reconstrucción general luego de la última dictadura militar que tuvo lugar en el Uruguay y el segundo de la mano de la fundación de una nueva Facultad. El proceso en general está marcado por una profesionalización creciente, hacia un perfil internacional, y muestra cómo en los cambios curriculares intervienen distintos factores: institucionales, ligados al desarrollo curricular y, con un rol destacado, lo relativo al desarrollo de las disciplinas.
