Este artículo realiza un recorrido histórico que vincula el desarrollo de la ciencia moderna con la interpretación dicotómica que tenemos de la diferencia sexual corporal y los roles de género. Toma como recorte temporal desde el comienzo de la era moderna hasta la actualidad. Destaca la oposición naturaleza-tecnología como eje que atraviesa este proceso y que influye en la configuración de un sujeto investigador modelo.
