The information has been obtained from the Web of Science, Scopus, Educational Resources Information Center and Google Scholar databases. It has been selected based on its reliability and validity, its methodological rigor and compliance with the desired criteria of scientific quality, taking into ac-count the evaluation indexes Journal Citation Reports (JCR), Scimago Journal Rank (SJR) and Secondary Diffusion Compound Index (ICDS). To facilitate the analysis of the information, it was classified into two categories: teachers' thinking and difficulties about Einstein's RRT, and didactic proposals for teaching Einstein's RRT. The conclusions have revealed the thinking of the teachers as well as the didactic proposals for the teaching of Einstein's theory of special relativity. It is part of the theoretical framework of the first signer's doctoral thesis research, in which a teaching proposal based on Minkowski geometry was de-signed, implemented and evaluated for high school students (17-18 years old). El objetivo del presente trabajo es obtener una visión global sobre la problemática de la enseñanza de la relatividad restringida de Einstein desde la perspectiva del pensamiento del profesorado y de las propuestas didácticas para su enseñanza. La informa-ción se ha obtenido de las bases de datos Web of Science, Scopus, Educational Resources Information Center y Google Scholar. Se ha seleccionado en función de su fiabilidad y validez, su rigor metodológico y el cumplimiento de los criterios de calidad cien-tífica buscada, teniendo en cuenta los índices de valoración de las revistas científicas Journal Citation Reports (JCR), Scimago Journal Rank (SJR) e Índice Compuesto de Difusión Secundaria (ICDS). En este estudio se ha puesto de manifiesto el pensamiento del profesorado, así como las propuestas didácticas para la enseñanza de la teoría de la relatividad restringida de Einstein. For-ma parte del marco teórico de la investigación de tesis de doctorado del primer firmante, en la que se diseñó, implementó y evaluó una propuesta de enseñanza basada en la geometría de Minkowski, para estudiantes de Bachillerato (17-18 años).
