The tool is framed in a strategy to study the teaching of procedural content in the laboratory, which is part of a doctoral thesis work. It starts from considering that the procedures are knowledge to teach that requires an intentional task on the part of the teacher and that the laboratory context is very rich in relation to the procedures on whose teaching it is possible to work. The description of how the analysis tool was constructed to identify types of teacher and student interventions that appear in labora-tory classes and that are part of teaching discursive strategies is included. A strategy to study the teacher's discursive strategies that could favor the learning of procedural contents in the laboratory is a contribution to the field of research of what happens in the classroom that can also be helpful for teachers to reflect in relation to their own practice. En esta comunicación se presenta la construcción de una herramienta de análisis de datos para estudiar el discurso en clases experimentales, en la universidad. La herramienta está enmarcada en una estrategia para estudiar la enseñanza de contenidos procedimentales en el laboratorio, que forma parte de un trabajo de tesis de doctorado. Se parte de considerar que los procedi-mientos son un saber a enseñar que requiere de una tarea intencionada de parte del docente y que el contexto del laboratorio es muy rico en relación con los procedimientos sobre cuya enseñanza es posible trabajar. Se incluye la descripción de cómo se construyó la herramienta de análisis para identificar tipos de intervenciones de los docentes y los estudiantes, que aparecen en las clases de laboratorio y que forman parte de las estrategias discursivas docentes. Una estrategia para estudiar las estrategias discursivas del docente que podrían favorecer el aprendizaje de contenidos procedimentales en el laboratorio es un aporte al campo de la investigación de lo que ocurre en el aula que también puede resultar de ayuda para que los docentes reflexionen en relación con su propia práctica.
