These strategies provide clues about how the researchers perceive learning. We searched the conceptions of learning shown in investigations in which students are organized in small groups in Physics classes. We analyzed 42 articles published between 2012 and 2017 in journals made available and classified as highest credibility by CAPES (Brazil). We categorized them according to concepts of mind brought from the literature. Our findings show that learning is mostly perceived as a social activity of sharing meanings (n=25). We also found 5 articles with divergent conceptions in their sections (Data Analysis and Theoretical Framework). Finally, we propose that the categories created in this study can be used as tools to evaluate how tests, instruction and research target learning. Diversas estratégias são criadas para analisar o fenômeno aprendizagem. Tais estratégias podem sinalizar como os pesquisadores compreendem esse fenômeno. Neste trabalho, investigamos as concepções de aprendizagem que aparecem em trabalhos que lidam com pequenos grupos em aulas de Física. Analisamos 42 artigos publicados durante o período de 2012 a 2017 em periódicos de Ensino de Ciências e de Física classificados como A1 pelo Qualis CAPES (Brasil). Categorizamos as análises desenvolvidas pelos autores segundo concepções de mente trazidas da literatura. Notamos uma predominância (n=25) da concepção que trata aprendizagem como uma prática social de compartilhamento de significados. Além disso, encontramos cinco trabalhos em que as concepções de aprendizagem divergiam entre suas próprias seções. Finalmente, propomos que a ferramenta criada para a categorização dos artigos pode ser usada como instrumento de reflexão e ponderação para a elaboração de sequências didáticas, avaliações escolares e estratégias de investigação em aprendizagem.
