Sumario:This project shows a lesson plan developed in a bilingual context for first grade students, using inquiry teaching methodology for an Astronomy content. Science, English and Arts subjects are worked in a cross curricular way. The purpose of this unit is to check that students can achieve the understanding of some scientific abstract contents using an inquiring teaching methodology useful for improving thinking skills. At the same time, pupils also develop a second language, in this case, English language, using CLIL principles. The teaching sequence developed is focused on observation, generating ideas and conceptualization skills. The results achieved show the feasibility and benefits of this kind of didactic sequences.
